Our 2021 Apothic Merlot is a silky, approachable red wine grown in California. Notes of blackberry and blueberry are underscored by hints of toasted oak and coconut. A touch of Teroldego enhances the Merlot’s untamed character with layers of boysenberry and dark chocolate. The fruit melds together seamlessly with plush tannins that pull straight through to the long finish.
The 2021 Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon is a bold, well-structured red wine. A bouquet of dark berry, freshly ground coffee and dried herb notes bound from the glass, then carry through to the palate. Undercurrents of cola, shaved dark chocolate and a dust of cinnamon add rich complexity that carries through to a strong finish.
Grown in the province of Treviso since the late 19th century, Merlot Marca Trevigiana IGT is a rustic and generous vine variety that offers a wine with a beautiful ruby-red color, balanced in flavor and hints that recall red fruit. The flavor is intense, pleasant and informal.
